November 1, 2024 – TAMPA, FL – Trenam Law is pleased to announce the addition of seven associate attorneys in the firm’s Tampa office. The attorneys joining in Tampa include Elizabeth Alderson, Jonathon Ballantyne, Matthew Ceriale, Aaron Cook, Michael Harrigan, Stevie Henderson and Rebecca Sorensen.

Alderson joins Trenam as an associate in the firm’s Business Transactions Practice Group. She previously interned for the Honorable Baggé-Hernández at the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court in Tampa. Alderson earned her bachelor’s degrees from the University of Central Florida and her J.D. from the Stetson University College of Law.
Ballantyne joins Trenam as an associate in the firm’s Business Transactions Practice Group. He advises clients on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions, assists with Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) filings, and prepares corporate contracts and governance documents. Ballantyne earned his bachelor’s degree from Washington and Lee University and his J.D. from the Wake Forest University School of Law.
Ceriale joins Trenam as an associate in the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution and Employment Law Practice Groups. He has extensive experience in complex litigation, business disputes and commercial real estate. Ceriale has handled cases across various legal areas, including intellectual property, international and domestic arbitration, construction equipment rental claims, and large commercial and residential landlord-tenant issues. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida and his J.D. from the Stetson University College of Law.
Cook joins Trenam as an associate in the firm’s Real Estate and Lending Transactions Practice Group. His practice focuses on Small Business Administration (SBA) loan closings and modifications, commercial and residential real estate transactions, and corporate law, including private equity and business acquisitions. Cook earned his bachelor’s degree from New York University and his J.D. from the Georgia State University College of Law.
Harrigan joins Trenam as an associate in the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group. While in law school, he was involved in the Judicial Internship Rotational Program for the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida where he interned for the Hon. Julie S. Sneed, Hon. Catherine P. McEwen and Hon. Thomas P. Barber. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and his J.D. from the Stetson University College of Law.
Henderson joins Trenam as an associate in the firm’s Employment Law Practice Group. In law school, she served as the associate editor and articles editor for the Journal of Aging Law and Policy, held the vice presidency for the Student Bar Association and worked as a teaching assistant. Stevie was also involved in the Dispute Resolution Board and competed globally in international commercial arbitration. Stevie obtained her bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University and her J.D. from the Stetson University College of Law.
Sorensen joins Trenam as an associate in the firm’s Business Transactions Practice Group where she counsels clients on complex corporate law matters. While in law school, she was a judicial extern for the Cook County Circuit Court. Sorensen earned her bachelor’s degree from Furman University and her J.D. from Notre Dame Law School.
