Overview

Zane Katz is an associate in the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group. Zane’s experience in commercial litigation includes a variety of complex business disputes including shareholder actions, limited liability company actions, and partnership disputes. He also focuses his practice on disputes involving commercial real estate, real property, and other complex commercial litigation disputes, including appeals.

Zane is passionate about sports and continues to play ice hockey in his free time. In addition, each year he competes in the St. Anthony’s triathlon in St. Petersburg.

Representative Matters

  • Obtained final summary judgment in disputed premises liability matter.
  • Part of team that obtained partial final judgment for client during bench trial in complex real property dispute involving sovereign submerged lands.
  • Drafted brief and attended argument of appeal before the Supreme Court of Florida regarding arbitration dispute. Unifirst Corp. v. Joey’s New York Pizza, LLC, 2023 WL 2577755 (Fla. 2023).
